Stay Inside. Seriously. Social distancing is a public health practice that aims to prevent sick people from coming in close contact with healthy people in order to reduce opportunities for disease transmission. It can include large-scale measures like canceling group events or closing public spaces, as well as individual decisions such as avoiding crowds.
With COVID-19, the goal of social distancing right now is to slow down the outbreak in order to reduce the chance of infection among high-risk populations and to reduce the burden on health care systems and workers. Experts describe this as "flattening the curve," which generally refers to the potential success of social distancing measures to prevent surges in illness that could overwhelm health care systems. |
Sanitize and Minimizee With no viable solution to the virus in the near future, we will need to make sure that we take the uptmost precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. For now, that means sanitizing as much as possible and staying hygenic. Making sure that you sanitize any surfaces inside your home or facility os crucial. Make sure not to touch your face or mouths as the virus is most likely to be present there than any part of your body. Finally, whenever going outside, make sure you completely sanitize upon returning to your home. Go straight to the bathroom and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.

Stay Calm & Carry OnThough this situation may seem very scary and formidable, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Everybody is going through the same thing and there are efforts being made by the world's best and brightest. Whatever the case, panic can become a much deadlier outcome than the virus itself. Staying calm and making logical decisions is essential and can help slow the spread of the virus. This is also a great time to do some new things! Read a book, watch a new movie, or even learn piano! Psychologists have noted that we should keep our minds healthy and sharp by participating in daily excercise or other activities.
